Motor Vehicle Injuries
SpineCenterAtlanta’s motor vehicle accident recovery program is designed to help individuals return to a productive lifestyle after injury in a motor vehicle accident at no fault of their own. Motor vehicle accidents are a leading cause of pain, disability, interrupted lifestyles and missed days at work. Forces generated through one’s body during a motor vehicle accident can be quite substantial, even at lower speeds, resulting in whiplash, disc herniation, fracture/dislocations and soft tissue trauma.
Why run all over the city from one medical location to another for your care? Our one-stop musculoskeletal center of excellence offers the services of a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, physician assistants with specialized training in the care of musculoskeletal injuries, a chiropractic program, and ancillary services including physical therapy, aquatic therapy, medical massage, and fitness classes and personal training services.
Designed with multiple entry points, our motor vehicle accident recovery program allows the patient and their attorney numerous options for the care of patients injured due to the negligence of others. Patients may choose to participate in one or multiple services depending upon the severity of the injury and upon the advice of their healthcare provider.
The soft tissue program emphasizes a course of care which expedites the patient’s recovery through strength, flexibility, endurance and core stabilization under the careful direction of a highly skilled physician assistant and/or chiropractor. Patients liken this program to “going to the health club or gym” while under the watchful care of the licensed physical therapy team.
The orthopaedic program is for those patients who have sustained a more serious injury requiring the care and services of our board certified and highly skilled orthopaedic and spine surgeon. The orthopaedic program may or may not require surgical intervention; nonetheless, the patient has access to a team of practitioners who can treat their pain and prescribe the proper medications, therapy services and diagnostic tests required to meet the patient’s needs.
The SpineCenterAtlanta motor vehicle accident recovery program is directed by a medical doctor who believes in the merging of traditional and complementary treatments. When appropriately combined, these services offer the right recipe for a successful resolution of pain and disability following a motor vehicle accident.
